Island. The nearest international airport is Savannah, Georgia, located 45
minutes from the Island. Air Tran Airways, American Airlines/American Eagle,
Continental Express, Delta/Delta Connection, Northwest Airlines, United/United
Express and USAirways offer daily flights to Savannah. Limousine, shuttle and
taxi service is available, and all major car rental agencies are represented.
By Land. From I-95, take Exit 8 onto Hwy. 278 direct to Hilton Head Island.
Amtrak serves Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina, with several
trains daily.
By Sea. Hilton Head and Beaufort are on the Intracoastal Waterway and boaters
can be serviced at Shelter Cove Marina, adjacent to Palmetto Dunes.
