Beach Access in Hilton Head, South Carolina | Palmetto Dunes

Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort features three miles of pristine beachfront, the ideal locale for surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, walking, lounging and collecting shells. The wide, sandy beaches that front the Atlantic Ocean have been reinvigorated using tons of sand dredged from the resort's 11-mile lagoon system and Shelter Cove Marina. 

The Dunes House, a public access beach facility located midway down the three-mile stretch of beach, features a deck, resort beach restrooms and limited parking for resort guests. The Dunes Buggy stops at the Dunes House. Catch a free ride to the beach - and bring your beach chairs with you.
