The Palmetto Dunes Golf Academy, a leader in providing quality golf instruction and support, offers nine distinct programs for golfers from age 12 to adult. Eleven teaching pros, some of whom are former PGA Tour professionals, provide hands-on instruction to golfers with varying levels of proficiency

Private lessons are available from an assistant professional, head professionals and the director of instruction. In addition, the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort presents a daily golf clinic featuring the stroke of the day at the Robert Trent Jones Course. With a student-instructor ratio of 6:1, the clinic emphasizes individual attention.

Former PGA Tour player Doug Weaver, the resort's highly regarded director of instruction, manages the golf academy and supervises all instruction. Golfers also may take advantage of "The Custom Fitting Experience," a free swing evaluation and club fitting.
